Adewunmi (Ade) Lewis, Certified Master Trainer, Director
An experienced learning and development consultant, instructional designer, author and entrepreneur, Ade is passionate about customizing learning solutions and 'making learning stick" to boost individual productivity and organizational performance. For over 30 years, she has managed various facets of the human resource function, consulting with public and private organizations to understand their needs and optimize their effectiveness.
Ade partners with executives and managers to design and delivered interactive training programs in leadership, supervisory skills, customer service, change management, team building, performance management and many others. One of the leadership programs she designed and implemented for supervisors in City government in North Carolina won a national award for its structure, content, implementation and replicability in other organizations.
Ade's professional experience includes working as Assistant Vice President for Human Resources in Banking, Assistant Director for Organizational Development & Training for City government, Executive Director for a nonprofit Institute for Community Leadership and Human Resource Manager for a multinational manufacturing company. She is a professional member of the national and local chapters of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), has served as chairperson of Awards Excellence Panel for the International City and Council Managers Association (ICMA) and is a graduate of the prestigious UNC Chapel Hill School of Government's Municipal and County Administration program on Leadership and Governance in the public sector. As the co – founder and Director of Praises and Presentations, a nonprofit organization, she organizes community outreach workshops primarily for seniors, youths and children, Ade enjoys growing in her faith, travelling with her family and community events.
